In the municipality of Usurbil, several municipal services will alter their usual operating hours or experience temporary closures during the summer season. The Emakumeon Etxea (Women's House), located in Pelaioenea de Kalezarko, will be closed from August 7th to 28th, with its regular schedule to be reinstated from September 1st.
The Town Hall, Potxoenea, and Social Services will remain open throughout the summer. The Town Hall will be open Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 14:00. Social Services, recently relocated to the new premises at Barrenkale 2, will also be open in August, Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 14:00, except on Wednesdays when telephone assistance will be provided.
The Sutegi municipal library will be open in the mornings until September 4th, from 09:30 to 14:00. From September 7th, it will resume its regular hours (Monday to Friday, 10:00-13:00 and 16:00-19:30; Saturdays, 10:00-13:00). The Oiardo sports center will be closed during the first half of August, until the 16th. Afterwards, until September, it will open with summer hours: weekdays from 7:00 to 20:15, Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00, and Sundays and holidays from 9:00 to 13:00. From September onwards, the hours will be weekdays 6:30-21:30, Saturdays 8:30-21:30, and Sundays and holidays 8:30-14:30.
KzGunea will be closed in August and will reopen on September 1st in the mornings, from 9:00 to 13:00. For more information, one can visit Kale Nagusia, 37 or call 943 023 684.
The free bus-taxi service within the municipality of Usurbil, Bidez Bide, has adjusted its schedule for the summer season. After being offered only in the mornings in July, it will be suspended throughout August and will return to its regular schedule from September 1st. Euskotren has been operating its summer schedule since June 22nd, facilitating travel to coastal towns. On weekends, the service will be offered every half hour from midday onwards. Further information is available on euskotren.eus or by calling 944 333 333.
The Garbigunea (recycling center), located in the Atallu industrial estate, will have its summer hours from July 15th to September 15th: Monday to Friday, from 10:15 to 12:50 and from 16:00 to 18:20; Saturdays, from 09:00 to 12:50. It will be closed on Sundays and public holidays.
