The organizers of the event, members of the Usurbil Kirol Elkartea, have issued a positive assessment this Monday, following the recent conclusion of the Beer Fair. The organization wished to thank everyone who made this initiative possible, particularly highlighting the collaboration of citizens, volunteers, the municipality, and sponsors.
Over four days, this fair brought together sports, music, and leisure, creating an excellent atmosphere and achieving high participation. The organizers identified collaboration as the main key to making this fair happen, stating that similar future initiatives would not be possible without the community's support.
“"We write these lines from the bottom of our hearts to thank you for the special and unforgettable Beer Fair we have experienced in recent days."
The fair began on Thursday with opening remarks from Eneko Furundarena, a Bidasoa player from Usurbil, and a concert by Anu and Elene. On Friday, performances by Lua Matheus and Rodrigo once again transformed the fronton into a community gathering point. Saturday saw a 1st national handball match between Usurbil KE and Barakaldo, followed by the grand final between Athletic Club and Real Sociedad, which concluded with Real's victory in a penalty shootout.
On Sunday, the fair concluded with a mus championship, where pelota players Jon Ander Peña and Ander Imaz emerged victorious. The organizers emphasized that this event would not have been possible without the help of the citizens, volunteers, the Usurbil City Council, and local restaurateurs and sponsors.
