The Usurbil City Council has set the enrollment period for the haurreskola for the 2026-2027 academic year between April 20 and May 8, within the context of the service's integration into the Haurreskolak Partzuergoa.

The Usurbil City Council has announced that the enrollment period for the haurreskola for the 2026-2027 academic year will run from April 20 to May 8. This process is part of the ongoing integration of the service into the Haurreskolak Partzuergoa, and during this transitional phase, the Council itself will be responsible for managing registrations.
The process of joining the consortium was approved in the municipal plenary session last February and is expected to conclude on September 1. From that date, the 0-2 year cycle will be offered by the Haurreskolak Partzuergoa, while the 2-3 year age group will remain under the management of Udarregi Ikastola.
Interested families must formalize their registration in person at Udarregi Ikastola, located at 11 Gernika Pasealekua, from 08:15 to 12:00. Additionally, the center will host an open day on April 21 at 17:30, with the aim of showcasing the facilities and answering questions.

We emphasize the importance of respecting the established deadlines. Applications submitted after the deadline do not guarantee a place, so we recommend that families who anticipate needing the service complete the process within the specified period.

The enrollment process also includes access to specific documentation about the service and current regulations, which interested parties can consult to complete the application with full guarantees. This integration responds to a change in the management model of early childhood education centers, promoted by the Basque Government, which seeks to centralize the provision of the 0-2 year cycle. In Usurbil's case, this process will involve a reorganization of the educational service in the early stages, maintaining collaboration between local institutions and the autonomous public system.
