Usurbil K.E. Organizes Handball Matches and Beer Fair This Weekend

The club has announced four handball fixtures, including two finals, and is preparing the Beer Fair from April 16 to 19.

Usurbil K.E. has announced a busy handball schedule and preparations for the Beer Fair, featuring four handball matches, including two finals, and the festival from April 16 to 19.

Usurbil K.E. has scheduled a series of handball matches for this weekend, one of which will be played at the Oiardo sports center. The other three matches, including two finals, will take place outside the town. On Saturday, April 11, at the Oiardo sports center, the first regional senior women's team, Urbil-Usurbil K.E.-Munttarpe, will compete at 5:00 PM.
Among the finals to be played outside the town, two cadet girls' teams will compete. On Saturday, April 11, in Olaizaga, Elgoibar, Tolosa CF Eskubaloia and Cortes Usurbil K.E. will play at 09:30 AM. On the same day, in Lubaki, Zumaia, Amama Taberna Pulpo EK and Bilagun Usurbil K.E. will face off at 12:45 PM. On Sunday, April 12, at Hondarribia Beach, the 1st national senior men's match will be held at 11:30 AM, between Il Capo Hondarribia-Bidasoa and Saizar Usurbil K.E.
In conjunction with the handball events, Usurbil K.E. is preparing the Beer Fair, which will take place from April 16 to 19 at the Usurbil fronton. The last edition was held from October 13 to 16, 2022, organized in collaboration by Usurbil K.E. and Usurbil F.T. In this year's edition, as in 2022, payments can be made both in cash and by card. Five special and two regular beers will be available for tasting. On April 16 and 17, only dinners will be offered, while on April 18 and 19, both lunches and dinners will be available.

This year, too, our goal is to create an unbeatable atmosphere in the town. It will be a weekend that combines music, sport, food, drink, and friendship.

According to the organizers, the Beer Fair will be very lively, especially on Saturday, April 18. They aim to create a comprehensive program that includes lunches, dinners, concerts, a mus championship, and the opportunity to watch the Copa del Rey final. Furthermore, the last home match of the senior men's team, against Barakaldo, will be one of the most important moments of the weekend.
With this event, the aim is to enliven the town and provide financial support to Usurbil K.E. For this, approximately 125 volunteers will be needed. Although a team of collaborators has already been formed, more volunteers are required to carry out the organization, especially on the day of the fair. Volunteers can assist in the kitchen, bar, setup, dismantling, and cleaning. Interested individuals can sign up via the provided link.
