This initiative will combine economic revitalization activities with cultural and leisure proposals for all audiences. One of its main attractions will be a raffle for shopping vouchers totaling 1,500 euros. Specifically, one prize of 500 euros and four prizes of 250 euros will be distributed, redeemable at participating establishments.
During the campaign days, customers will receive tickets at participating shops to enter the raffle, a method designed to encourage purchases in local businesses and strengthen the local economy. In addition to the raffles, Udaberriko Festa will feature numerous activities spread over two weeks.
One of the first proposals will be an exhibition of children's drawings held between May 11 and 17 in various establishments throughout the municipality. Participating schoolchildren can locate their works in the shops and collect a small gift, thus fostering interaction between families and the commercial fabric. The program will also include musical, gastronomic, and participatory activities. Among these, a musical afternoon with a DJ is scheduled for May 15 at Café-Bar Buenetxea.
May 16 will concentrate some of the most prominent activities of the program, including the distribution of spring sweets, a popular paella, zumba exhibitions, and several concerts at different points in the municipality. Furthermore, between May 21 and 23, numerous local businesses will offer special promotions and deals coinciding with the final stretch of the campaign.
The program will also include participatory workshops aimed at both children and adults, as well as various hospitality initiatives such as musical vermouths, barbecues, and live performances distributed across different establishments and public spaces in the town. Another regular feature of the campaign will be the popular txu-txu tourist train, which will once again travel the streets of Lasarte-Oria on May 23 to enliven the festive atmosphere and facilitate movement between different commercial areas.
The closing of Udaberriko Festa will take place on the same Saturday, May 23, with the Udaberriko Aterpea Barbecue celebration in Okendo Square. The popular barbecue will be accompanied by music and will serve as the final act of a campaign that seeks to bring commercial and hospitality activity to the streets and strengthen the social atmosphere.
