The start and finish line for the BTT event will be located around Askatasuna Square, with the race commencing at 9:00 AM. Organizers have highlighted the considerable interest the event has garnered among enthusiasts, with all entries sold out weeks in advance, confirming the strength and appeal of the Lasarte-Oria BTT in the sports calendar.
In recent years, the Lasarte-Oria BTT has experienced sustained growth, both in terms of participation and its social and economic impact. This event is characterized by its inclusive nature, open to both conventional and electric bicycles, and offers routes adapted to different skill levels. This allows both beginners and experienced cyclists to enjoy mountain biking in a privileged natural environment, making it an accessible event for all types of audiences.
The Lasarte-Oria City Council will support the BTT event in two ways: through the services of the Sports department, it will assist in the organization, and through the Tratu On Bat brand, promoted by the Socioeconomic department, it will participate as a sponsor. According to municipal officials, the activity has a positive impact on local economic revitalization, and the aim is to leverage this to position Lasarte-Oria as a reference point for commerce, hospitality, and personal services within the region.
To minimize traffic disruption, the Local Police, in collaboration with the event organizers, has established a specific protocol to ensure traffic flow as much as possible. Although no major incidents are anticipated, citizens are asked for their understanding, and it is recommended to anticipate usual travel to avoid any specific consequences that the event may cause.
