The Astigarraga City Council has launched its participatory budget process, allowing citizens to decide how 240,000 euros will be invested. A total of 22 proposals are available, with each voter able to select up to four.

The voting period is now open and will continue until July 10th. Residents can cast their votes online via the portal astigarraga.eus/parte-hartu.
Those who prefer can also vote in person. Two opportunities have been scheduled for today: in the morning at Kontxa Etxeberria square (from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and in the afternoon at Joseba Barandiaran square (from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM). In-person voting will be available again next week: on July 8th (Wednesday) at Joseba Barandiaran square (11:30 AM - 12:30 PM) and on the 9th (Thursday) at Kontxa Etxeberria square (7:00 PM - 8:00 PM).
Initially, 224 proposals were submitted by citizens. After assessing their technical and economic feasibility, 22 have advanced to the final stage. Proposals deemed outside municipal competence, exceeding the budget, or lacking technical viability have been discarded.
Now, from the proposals that have passed the review, citizens will choose which ones will be implemented. Voting is open to individuals aged 16 and over.
