Errenteria City Council has extended the period for using Pablo Sorozabal Square as a temporary night parking area. This measure aims to reduce the impact of ongoing works in the Beraun neighborhood and alleviate the shortage of parking spaces.
This option was initially provided when I-DE Redes Eléctricas began works to renovate the electricity grid on Norberto Almandoz and Aita Donostia streets, necessitating the temporary removal of parking spaces. Now, with the commencement of improvement works on Jaizkibel Street, which also involve the temporary removal of parking spots, the use of the square as a parking area will be extended until the works are completed.
The sole exception will be during the Beraun festivals, from September 3rd to 6th. During these days, parking will not be permitted in the square, as it will host various activities and serve as one of the main hubs for festival events.
Once the festivals conclude, the night parking facility will be reinstated with its regular hours: from 7:00 PM to 10:00 AM.
