Lasarte-Oria marks the end of its San Pedro festivities this Tuesday, a celebration influenced by heat and Sunday's storm, yet maintaining a vibrant atmosphere.

The San Pedro festivities in Lasarte-Oria conclude this Tuesday. Despite being marked by heat and a storm on Sunday evening, the event has featured a wide array of activities that have drawn a large number of residents and visitors to various locations.
Before the final day, the Circus fair will be open in Tximistarreta park from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Organizers have stated that in case of rain, the activity will move to the Loidi Barren fronton.
In the afternoon, at 5:30 PM, Jaizkibel square will host a children's theater performance by Perli & Koxkolo. If it rains, the event will be relocated to the covered area of Calvario bidea (public elevator).
At 6:00 PM, one of the most emotional moments of the Lasarte-Oria festivities will take place: the farewell of the parade of giants and big-heads. Starting from Blas de Lezo street, they will parade through various streets of the municipality with the Ezpelur pipers from Barañain.
From 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, a concert by Tsunami will be held in Isla square. At 7:00 PM, in Andatza square, Benito Ros will present a bike and motorcycle trail exhibition. Starting at 10:45 PM, the proximity fireworks show by the renowned pyrotechnics company Vulcano will commence.
Before concluding the festivities, Lasarte-Oria celebrated its main day. On Monday, the Manuel Lekuona cultural center hosted the municipality's tribute to the volunteers of the Red Cross Lasarte-Oria. Aquilino García, Amaia Goiaran, Nancy Morales, and Jose Luis Martín Mallo, representatives of the organization, received a commemorative plaque from the mayor, Agustín Valdivia.
On that day, inflatable attractions and children's games were also available, although they were moved to the Loidi Barren fronton due to rain. Members of Ttakun K.E. participated in a kantu-dantza (song and dance) procession, despite the overcast skies. Another notable event was the herri kirolak (traditional Basque sports) exhibition, featuring stone lifters, wood choppers, and more.
In the afternoon, the parade of giants and big-heads traversed several streets of the municipality with the Ezpelur pipers from Barañain. Meanwhile, sardines and cider were available for tasting in Okendo square.
