Erreka Team to Play Cup Final and Prepares for Promotion Phase

The Malerreka women's handball team has qualified for the Cup final after defeating Aldezar 35-23, while the men's team is getting ready for their promotion phase to First National in Alicante.

After winning the Navarre Handball League in their category, the Malerreka women's team has secured their spot in the Cup final, triumphing 35-23 over Aldezar. The Cup final is scheduled for this upcoming weekend, with the opponent's name and other match details to be announced on Tuesday.
Conversely, the men's team did not achieve their desired victory in the Cup, despite having previously won the League and the Final Four. They lost their Cup semifinal 27-29 against Ardoi, who will now play in the final. The focus for the men's team is now on resting and meticulously preparing for the exciting promotion phase to First National, which will take place in Alicante in two weeks.
The men's team will compete in the Second State League, Sector E, in Torrellano (Elche, Alicante). In their group, alongside Erreka, will be Torrellano Torrebanda, Ciudad de Granada, and Balonmano Parla. Matches are scheduled for May 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Erreka will play on May 22nd at 8:00 PM against Torrellano, on May 23rd at 8:00 PM against Parla, and on May 24th at 10:00 AM against Ciudad de Granada.
As for the women's team, they will play in the First State League, Sector D, in Errenteria, competing against Ereintza Bitek, Sant Cugat 'A', and R. Fertilidad Alfarnatejo Ciudad Jardín.
