Deportivo Alavés secures young academy talent until 2028

Deportivo Alavés has secured the future of a promising young academy player, extending his contract until 2028, thereby strengthening the club's long-term project and acknowledging his consistent development.

The Vitoria-based club continues to build its future by renewing contracts with young talents from its Ibaia academy. On this occasion, a Gipuzkoan central defender has reached an agreement to remain with the club until June 2028.
Born on July 18, 2005, in Astigarraga, the player joined the Alavés setup in the 2019-2020 season, at cadet level. Since then, his progression has been constant, establishing himself as a key player in the reserve team's defense. Furthermore, he has just mathematically secured qualification for the play-offs for promotion to Primera RFEF with the reserve squad.
The central defender has played 28 matches with the team known as Miniglorias this season, also scoring one goal. His defensive solidity, commitment, and potential for growth have been highlighted.
His development has led him to make the leap to the first team, with whom he already debuted in the Copa del Rey against Portugalete. Additionally, the player is a regular in the training sessions and call-ups for Quique Sánchez Flores's team, reflecting his excellent work and promising trajectory.
