Dbus has recorded historic figures in the first half of 2026, with over 16,626,862 journeys. This represents 292,103 more journeys than in the same period last year, a 1.79% increase compared to 2025 and a 7.76% increase compared to 2024.
The most used lines during the first six months of the year include: line 13-Altza, which has consolidated its growth with a 2.47% increase in usage; line 28-Amara-Ospitaleak; line 5-Benta Berri; line 17-Gros-Amara-Miramon; and line 26-Amara-Martutene. Journeys on these lines account for more than half of the total registered to date.
The average daily number of journeys on weekdays has also increased in the first half of the year: from 106,630 in 2025 to 106,799 in 2026, a 2.61% rise. Notably, May recorded the highest daily average for weekdays in the first semester, with 109,510 journeys.
The day with the highest passenger volume in the first half of 2026 was January 19th, the eve of San Sebastian Day, with 124,900 journeys. This was followed by February 13th with 116,848 journeys, and March 13th with 116,598 journeys, the latter coinciding with a Copa del Rey semi-final football match.
Furthermore, May and June of 2026 are among the months with the highest number of journeys in Dbus's history, with 2,899,153 journeys recorded in June and 2,890,039 in May.
Additionally, the total number of journeys over the last 12 months, as of June 30, 2026, reached 34,027,482. This marks the first time in Dbus's history that more than 34 million journeys have been made in a 12-month period.
