The 'From the Community, About Death' cycle, organized by Usurbil City Council and various organizations, will hold its next session on May 7th, focusing on traumatic deaths among young people and the importance of community support.

This cycle began on April 15th at Sutegi, with the founder of the Hil Arte Bizi project. The program, which will run until November, will explore the topic of death from multiple perspectives, including interculturality, parenthood, literature, and palliative care.

When death strikes youth: collective farewells and community support.

The May 7th session, taking place at Sutegi at 18:00, will be led by a member of the Bidegin association. It will feature testimonies from three residents who have experienced a traumatic death of a loved one during their youth. The discussion will emphasize the significance of collective farewells and community support in such difficult circumstances.
The cycle will continue on May 28th with a talk on palliative care, on June 11th with a live podcast from the Iñurri association, on September 22nd with a discussion linking death and literature, on October 18th with the screening of a documentary exploring the grief of child loss from a father's perspective, and on November 5th with a discussion on death and interculturality.
