The Oñati City Council will repair and improve three rural roads this year. To this end, it has commissioned Injelan to draft the project for the works, and the tender process has recently begun. These roads are Koixkar, Torretxebarri-Lizargarate, and the cemetery road.
The works will involve two types of interventions: firstly, the asphalting of the cemetery road, where the current asphalt will be removed and new asphalt laid after reinforcing areas requiring special attention. Secondly, on the Koixkar and Torretxebarri-Lizargarate roads, stabilization work will be carried out in landslide areas, along with retaining walls and other drainage interventions.
The section between Torretxebarri-Lizargarate will account for 59% of the total budget, Koixkar for 33%, and the cemetery road for 7%. The tender budget for the works is 237,815 euros, and they are expected to be completed within a three-month period.
When awarding the contracts, the economic offer will be particularly valued, representing 75% of the total score, although shortening deadlines and improving the execution project will also be taken into account.
The decision to put the works out to tender was made at the last Local Government Board meeting, and the call for bids has already been published. The deadline for submitting proposals will be November 2nd.
