This year's edition will feature seven performances, taking place from September 11 to November 20. All concerts will be held at the auditorium of the Juan Arzamendi Music School, with tickets available for five euros on the www.arrasate.eus portal.
The festival will kick off on September 11 with a concert by the duo Hondora, composed of singer Elisa Bayona and guitarist Ibai Gallardo. Formed in 2017, the pair blends rock, pop, funk, and rhythm-and-blues styles, and will present their latest work, Hondoratu eta azalera irten. The performance is scheduled for half past seven in the evening.
The second concert is on September 25, when the Menorcan musician Aitor Castells will present his English-language triptych work at the JAME auditorium. Castells has released six albums in the last decade, and his extensive repertoire will be showcased at half past seven in the evening.
October will host two more concerts. On the 9th, the band Ramona's First Evil Boyfriend will present their latest album, EATXI. The group, formed by Andrea Pozo and Jose Mari Unanue, combines folk and pop-rock sounds. On October 23, the project Flor y Troll by Sofia Fernandez from Gasteiz will arrive, featuring a blend of drums and vocals.
To conclude the three-month cycle, November will feature three additional concerts. On November 6, pianist Garazi Esnaola will present her first intimate and poetic solo album, Ez gaude hemen. On November 13, American musician Rob Leines, who works in rock and country styles, will perform music from his 2024 album, Headcase.
Finally, on November 20, the group Habia from Northern Basque Country will bring the 18th Oreixe Akustikoa to a close. The band, consisting of Maia Iribarne, Elena Haira, Amaia Hiriarte, and Maiana Aguerre, focuses on strings and vocals, blending tradition and contemporary music in works such as Animalia naiz and Omen.
