The Arrasate Municipal Library marks its 60th anniversary this Friday, celebrating its journey from its humble beginnings in 1966 to its current role as a key cultural hub.

Starting with a modest collection of 1,505 volumes at the Garibay house, the library has grown into a vital service with 14,501 members and a collection exceeding 56,000 books.
The celebration, themed '60 years, the same passion', will be held at Kulturate. The program features special readings by local guests, an acoustic performance by the group Del Val, and a birthday cake for all attendees.
Throughout its history, the library has occupied several locations, including the Monterrón palace, before moving to its current facility in Kulturate in 2007, ensuring modern and accessible services for the community.
