Eskoriatza is hosting the 26th Zapatista Week, an initiative by EskoZap focusing on social reflection, music, and collective action.

Eskoriatza is set to host its 26th Zapatista Week this week, an event organized by the EskoZap collective that centers on music, reflection, and social activism. The initiative aims to awaken critical consciousness and highlight solidarity and collective action as tools for social transformation. Following a significant silver anniversary edition last year, organizers approach this new program with renewed enthusiasm. "Organizing the Zapatista Week is always a joyful experience," shares Ahinara Zubizarreta, an EskoZap member, emphasizing the strong support and community engagement.
Throughout the week, a series of concerts, talks, meetings, and public activities will take place, fostering spaces for reflection on social justice, critical thinking, and alternatives to the current societal model. "One of our core objectives is to awaken consciousness among citizens. We also want to convey that much can be achieved through solidarity. We believe in the possibility of another world and are convinced that small actions can lead to significant changes," Zubizarreta emphasizes.
