Bergara's Pentecost Festivals officially launched with Bitorianatxo's impressive descent from the bell tower and the proclamation by Lokatza Cycling School.

From the Santa Marina bell tower in Bergara, Bitorianatxo initiated the Pentecost Festivals with a spectacular descent at 8:00 PM, to a packed square. His flight, wearing the Lokatza Cycling School jersey, was applauded by the large crowd. Taking the microphone, he greeted all the residents of Bergara and delivered key messages: "Pentecost is for everyone! The festivals are for enjoyment. With respect, let's look after each other and create a good atmosphere together." He also remembered those who couldn't attend and concluded with the slogan "Celebrate the festivals with heart and in Basque!".
Following this, Ion Unamuno, president of Lokatza Cycling School, took the floor on behalf of the entire collective. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to give the proclamation, calling it a "great honor," and recalled the association's 50-year history, highlighting its work for cycling. The mayor, Gorka Artola, who was a Lokatza cyclist in his childhood, was presented with a Lokatza jersey, which he immediately put on.
After the proclamation, a festive atmosphere took over the square. The Bergara Music Band performed the piece "Pobre y Alegres," and the Festival Committee released large colorful inflatables. Thus, Bergara's Pentecost Festivals have officially begun, with the first activities continuing at the Oxirondo festival grounds.
