The main goal of the initiative is to ensure the visibility of older people, promote a fairer society, and highlight the experience and wisdom of this group. The program is aimed at all citizens, with special attention to those living in nursing homes and day centers.
This edition will focus on reflecting on how and where we want to live as we age. This theme will be the central axis of exhibitions, lectures, theatrical performances, and puppet workshops held at the San Joxepe Pensioners' Association, Oxirondo market, Seminarixo, Munibe Square, Irizar Palace, and Mizpirualde residence.
The program will have its main day on October 1 with a commemorative event on Boni Laskurain street, featuring a joint declaration, followed by a pintxo-pote and dance. The activities will conclude on October 2 with a puppet show at the Seminarixo.
