Today, during the San Juan festivities in Arrasate, the III Youth Olympics will bring together over a thousand young people, distributed across 68 teams, who will compete in four different locations.

The schedule will kick off early in the morning. At 9:30 AM, courtesy of Poteo&Glarin, a popular breakfast will be held to gain energy, featuring juice, coffee, pastries, and hot dogs. Following this, after a 'warm-up' session with bagpipers at 10:00 AM, the Youth Olympics will commence at 11:00 AM across four venues: Biteri, Zaldibar, Kondekuan, and the Town Square.
This year's competition will focus on four games: stick spinning, Rubik's cube, 'sink the fleet', and 'cultural handkerchief'. In the stick spinning game, after eight spins, participants must insert the hoop into a cone. For the Rubik's cube game, they will need to arrange the handkerchiefs by color in columns on a board, moving them sideways, up, or down, with only one move per person.
In the 'sink the fleet' game, six teams will sit on the ground with a glass of water on their heads, while another team member throws balls attempting to knock over the glasses of other teams. A final team member will collect the balls with eyes open. The objective of the 'cultural handkerchief' game is for a team member, upon hearing a number, to find the answer to a question and score before the opponent. Organizers recommend reviewing the local history.
At midday, there will be a break for a popular lunch to regain strength. The meal will take place in Kondekuan, with over 800 young people participating. After lunch, the Olympic competitions will continue. Starting at 5:00 PM, the quarterfinals will be played, divided between Biteri and Zaldibar; at 6:00 PM, the semifinals in Zaldibar, and at 7:15 PM, a parade will proceed from Zaldibar to Monterron towards the final, accompanied by the Lazkao Txiki band.
The grand final will begin at 7:30 PM, and the awards ceremony will take place at 8:00 PM. To round off the Saturday, concerts will be held at Monterron starting at 9:00 PM, featuring the bands Fitoskins and Gozategi.
