The Antzuola team has mathematically secured promotion to the top division, requiring two seasons to return. Coach Unai Murgiondo highlights the team's growth and confidence.

Of the sixteen teams in the promotion phase, the top four will advance to the First Division, and Antzuola has mathematically secured one of these spots. They needed two seasons to return to this category. "We didn't start the promotion phase as we wanted, but we quickly turned it around. Despite being a young team, we have played with great confidence. We have only suffered two defeats all season. Gradually, we started to believe we could get promoted, and in the recent matches, we saw the goal within reach," explained coach Unai Murgiondo.
He emphasized that they have made a "big leap" in defense compared to previous seasons. He attributed the low number of goals conceded primarily to the team's significantly greater mental strength. In attack, he had players "who know each other well," coming from youth ranks and other clubs: "We only have two players who are not from Antzuola, but they have been with us for years. From the very beginning, it was clear that this year we have created more scoring opportunities than ever before. That has been the foundation for achieving so many goals and points. This year, we have adapted very well to playing with the ball, taking advantage of the skillful players we have upfront. While we've maintained our usual direct play, we've also focused on possession," he added.
Due to renovations on the pitch at Eztala, they have played their home games at Bergara's Ipintza stadium since November. Although the youth categories of AKE have already started playing there, the senior team preferred to continue playing in Bergara. "The new turf has absorbed a lot of moisture, and some parts of the field are unstable, increasing the risk of injury. The field will dry properly in the summer, and then they will bring in machinery to compact it and absorb the moisture," the coach stated.
The team has shown great commitment despite the difficulties, as they used Eztala once a week for physical training, while the rest of their practices were held between Bergara and Soraluze. "We played all fifteen matches of the promotion phase away from Eztala; the players deserve immense credit," highlighted Murgiondo.
On Saturday, they will play at 16:30 in Bergara, at Agorrosin. They will face Hernani B in a match that will be more of a celebration than a competition. Looking ahead to next season, they aim to make their home ground a fortress again: "Knowing that opponents suffer a lot here, the key for us will be to play strongly at Eztala".
