The Aiastui Cycling Club has prepared a packed schedule for June and July, with a particular emphasis on promoting young cyclists. They will host five popular races as part of a challenge, commencing on June 6. Following this, on July 12, the LXXX. Antzuola Saria and XXXIII. Iñaki Lete Memorial will take place, specifically for the U23 category.
The challenge kicks off on June 6 with a gymkhana in Ondarre (11:00 AM). This will be followed by the climb to Uzarraga on June 13 (12:00 PM), the time trial climb of Irala on June 20 (12:00 PM), and the Kalebarren gymkhana on June 27 (12:00 PM). The popular circuit will conclude on July 5 with the ascent of San Martzial (11:30 AM). Organizers are encouraging young people of all ages to participate, reminding them that helmet use is mandatory.
The main highlight will be the Antzuola Saria. This race will cover a distance of 123 kilometers, with the start scheduled for 09:15 AM from the Plaza. The peloton will pass through Antzuola and the Deskarga mountain pass twice before tackling the decisive climb to Asentzio around 11:45 AM. The finish is expected back at the starting point, around 12:30 PM.
Organizers anticipate significant participation, including prominent teams from the Basque Country as well as high-caliber cyclists from both Spain and France, promising a top-tier sporting spectacle.
