The story follows the Paw Patrol pups after their ship is caught in a mysterious storm, leading them to an unexplored tropical island filled with dinosaurs. There, they meet Rex, a pup who has lived on the island for years and become an expert in all things dinosaur.
Trouble arises when Mayor Humdinger, the Paw Patrol's arch-nemesis, begins to exploit the island for its natural resources. This unexpectedly triggers the eruption of a large volcano. Now, the pups must face their most important rescue yet, stopping Humdinger before the island is destroyed.
