SD Eibar secured a clear victory against Granada CF in Ipurua, positioning themselves second in the Hypermotion League with nine points.

SD Eibar has won their last three matches, accumulating nine points and climbing to second place in the Hypermotion League, erasing the poor start to the season.
Yesterday afternoon, the team led by Jokin Aranbarri hosted Granada CF. What initially seemed like a tough match turned into an enjoyable encounter for the Eibar side.
Eibar took an early lead. In the 7th minute, after several chances, Ivan Gil scored the first goal with a shot from outside the box. The home team dominated completely, both on the scoreboard and in play, and before halftime, Adu Ares added the second with an outside-of-the-foot finish.
The players appreciated the halftime break due to the high temperatures in Eibar yesterday. The home team adapted better to the conditions than the Andalusians, and after the break, in the 57th minute, Jon Guruzeta scored the third goal for the blue-and-reds. Guruzeta dedicated the goal to his grandfather, who passed away this summer.
Eibar played calmly with their lead. Despite the referee sending off Jair, the team held on well with ten players.
With this victory, Eibar has nine points and is just one point behind the leader, Castelló. Their next match is scheduled for next Monday, September 14th, at 20:30, against the newly promoted Celta Fortuna.
