This week's program brings four premieres to the Ermua Antzokia, with options for all tastes and ages. Among the featured films are El último vikingo, Altas capacidades, Proyecto salvación, and the animated movie Mi robot favorito.
The film club session will take place on Thursday at 7:30 PM, featuring the Danish film El último vikingo. This dark comedy with dramatic undertones, directed by Anders Thomas Jensen, explores family relationships. It will be screened in original version with Spanish subtitles. The story follows Anker, who is released from prison after serving fifteen years for a robbery, seeking the money his brother Manfred buried. The complication arises as Manfred has developed a mental disorder causing memory loss.
In the commercial cinema section, on Saturday at 7:30 PM and Monday at 8:30 PM, audiences can watch the comedy Altas capacidades, directed by Víctor García León. This film tells the story of middle-class couple Alicia and Gonzalo, who see the opportunity to enroll their son Fer in an elite secular school as a way to connect with higher society.
The second commercial offering of the week is Proyecto salvación, an American adventure and science fiction drama set in space. In this 156-minute film, science professor Ryland Grace awakens on a spaceship, light-years from Earth, with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Gradually, he uncovers his mission: to solve the enigma of a mysterious substance causing the sun to dim.
Finally, on Sunday at 5:00 PM, the animated film Mi robot favorito will be screened. With a runtime of 86 minutes, the plot follows astronaut Celeste's guardian robot, who is left alone questioning his purpose when she departs for space on her first solo mission.
