Ermua is set to become a rock music hotspot this coming Saturday, May 9th, as it hosts the nineteenth edition of the 'Vértigo Rock' festival, featuring ten participating bands.

The organizers have unveiled the festival's lineup, describing it as "diverse, combative, and intergenerational." They emphasized that it offers a platform for both emerging bands and those with established careers, viewing the stage as a space for expression.

"Diverse. Combative. Intergenerational. Bands that are starting. Bands that endure. And bands that continue to believe in the stage as a space for expression. An accessible festival for everyone, free, and prepared from the heart."

The festival organizers
Since 2007, the 'Vértigo Rock' festival has carved its own path, without imitating others and committing to a self-managed model. This approach provides opportunities for younger bands and those who believe in self-management.
This year's headliners include the bands 'Ezpalak' and 'Anestesia'. Additionally, 'The Lizards' and 'GEM' will perform on the main stage. The day will kick off with performances by 'Judash' and 'Kreken' at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM, respectively. A communal lunch will take place in the square from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
In the afternoon, rock sounds will return to the various stages. In March 8th Square, starting at 4:55 PM, 'Staff', 'Dire End', and 'Cobra' will play consecutively, each with 55-minute sets. At 8:05 PM, the "Konorte" street show will begin. The main event of the evening will start at 9:00 PM on the main stage with 'GEM'. An hour later, 'The Lizards' will take over, and at 11:00 PM, it will be 'Ezpalak''s turn. After midnight, 'Anestesia''s music will close this edition of the festival.
