The event brought together over a hundred people, including children, families, and companions, in an excellent atmosphere and with perfect weather. The hike began early in the morning from the Club Deportivo Eibar headquarters, following the GR trail towards Santa Cruz. After a break for refreshments and a snack, they continued towards Akondia, where a group photograph was taken before the descent.
Their arrival in Arrate coincided with midday, the moment when the main event began: the medal ceremony for young mountaineers who actively participated in the organized excursions. A total of 69 children received their awards for taking part in five or more mountain outings during the season. This figure highlights the success and consolidation of the section's children's program, which continues to introduce nature and mountaineering to new generations.
The celebration concluded with a small refreshment for the participants, marking the end of a festive day. This event recognized the effort and perseverance of the youngest members and bid farewell to a season that saw significant participation in the children's activities organized by the Club Deportivo Eibar.
