This initiative seeks to open direct dialogue spaces with affiliates, their social base, and, in some cases, also with the citizenry. It is scheduled for the weeks leading up to summer and responds to the local organization's desire to bring regional, territorial, and national perspectives to Eibar for analysis and to contrast viewpoints in an accessible format.
According to the party, the objective of these meetings is twofold: on one hand, to analyze current political affairs; on the other, to encourage a more direct exchange of opinions with Eibar's affiliates and sympathizers. The idea is to strengthen a party model more rooted in the local context, where political conversation is not limited to large events but is also built in close-knit settings.
As part of this calendar, a meeting is scheduled for May 7 with the current president of the Euzkadi Buru Batzar (EBB), the party's national executive. The jeltzale leader has recently advocated for a Basque Country "with stable institutions" and an agenda focused on trust, public response, and the country's projection.
The program announced by the Eibar organization also includes another event on May 20 at the Coliseo, featuring a former lehendakari, followed by a lunch at the venue. Additionally, on a date yet to be confirmed, the Minister of Industry, Energy Transition, and Sustainability of the Basque Government will visit, as part of this spring activity program.
The future presence of the minister is expected to bring a focus on reindustrialization, energy transition, and economic competitiveness, topics that are central to their department and play a key role in the Basque Government's actions. With this agenda, EAJ-PNV of Eibar aims to combine the party's organic dimension with a more open interpretation of current institutional affairs.
