This year's festival program features two main milestones. Firstly, it marks the 70th anniversary of the Deba March, composed by Pablo Sorozabal. Secondly, the children's bull run is being reinstated on August 15, aimed at children and teenagers aged 8 to 16.
The official start of the festivities will take place on August 14 at 6:00 PM with the traditional 'chupinazo' from the town hall balcony. This year, a representative from the Amaikak Bat sports club has been chosen to launch the rocket in recognition of their long-standing commitment to the town.
The festivities will include traditional events such as the Ezpata-dantza, the Salve, concerts, and various activities for children. The program will conclude with bullfighting events, rural sports, and a drum parade that will mark the end of the celebrations.
