Amaikak Bat and Mutriku Face Crucial Matches for Survival

Football teams from Debabarrena seek fan support in vital home games this weekend to avoid relegation.

Two football teams from Debabarrena, Amaikak Bat and Mutriku, are in a critical battle for permanence and are calling on their fans for support in their upcoming home matches this weekend.

The Debabarrena teams competing in the men's regional Honor Division are facing their thirtieth league matchday this weekend. This round is particularly significant for Mutriku and Amaikak Bat from Deba, as they are deeply involved in the fight to avoid relegation.
With five matchdays remaining until the end of the regular season, the teams from the coastal towns of the region are compelled to win to avoid a precarious situation at the championship's conclusion. Both Amaikak Bat and Mutriku will play at home this weekend, which is why the boards of both clubs have made a special appeal to their respective fan bases to attend and support their teams in these vital encounters.
Mutriku (16th with 25 points), despite its delicate situation, has managed to secure eight points in the last five matchdays. Tomorrow, Saturday, at 5:30 PM, they will host the strong Tolosa (5th with 47 points) with the aim of achieving another victory to continue climbing the table. Meanwhile, Amaikak Bat (15th with 27 points) will face Bergara (11th with 33 points) on Sunday, at 4:30 PM, at their Errotazar stadium. Bergara is not expected to make things easy.
Indeed, should Bergara lose, they would find themselves embroiled in the fight to avoid relegation, with only a three-point lead over the Deba team. Amaikak Bat will be looking to end a poor run that has lasted too long (they have only managed to secure one point in their last eight matches).
In contrast, Elgoibar and Urki approach their matches this weekend with greater calm. Having completed their objectives and with the aim of finishing the regular season in the best possible position as their main incentive, Club Deportivo Elgoibar's 'Haundi' and Eibar's Urki face their games without urgency. 'Haundi' (7th with 46 points) will play against Oiartzun (3rd with 53 points) this Saturday, at 5:00 PM, at their Mintxeta stadium. Oiartzun is having a great season and remains fully involved in the fight for promotion to the Third Division.
For its part, Eibar's Urki (9th with 44 points) will travel to Lesaka on Sunday, at 5:00 PM, to face Beti Gazte (12th with 33 points), who have not yet secured their position. Similar to Bergara, the Lesaka team would fall into the danger zone if they were to lose.
