On June 6th and 7th, the Ibaguen football field will be transformed into a Basque-speaking circus universe. This activity is part of the Eusfera initiative by Taupa Euskaltzaleen Mugimendua, organized in collaboration with the Hogeitalau association.
During these two days, magic and theater workshops, juggling, face painting, and various shows will be offered, all related to the world of the circus. Pre-registration is required to participate in the workshops, by filling out the available form.
Originally, the event was scheduled to take place on May 16th and 17th in Aiara, but it has been postponed to the first weekend of June. These Euspaces will serve as meeting points for children and parents, and although they will have different characteristics in each locality, they share three elements: they are aimed at children and parents, they promote active participation, and the Basque language is at the core of the initiative.
Before these activities, Taupa proposes missions to be carried out at home with the family, with the aim of promoting the Basque language in children's lives. Resources to complete these challenges can be found on the Eusfera website.
“"In Aiara, we want to continue making progress so that leisure, cultural consumption, role models, sports, and language practices at home become more Basque."
