An incident that began last Saturday morning in Bilbao's Abando neighborhood culminated in two arrests in Llodio. A vehicle had its window broken and several valuable items stolen, including an electronic music device with activated GPS.
The device's owner alerted the Llodio police station upon detecting that their device was emitting a signal from a residence in the municipality. The Ertzaintza promptly dispatched several patrols to the indicated address.
At the location, two men, aged 29 and 35, who were known to the police, were found. During the search, officers recovered the remaining items stolen in Bilbao: a gold ring, a gold chain, and new sports shoes. The two suspects were immediately arrested and brought before a judge on Monday.
Additionally, on Saturday night in Llodio, another man was arrested on Virgen del Carmen street after being observed acting suspiciously, looking into parked cars. While officers were identifying him, a Local Police patrol arrived with a report of a car window being broken in the Lateorro neighborhood.
Upon searching the 43-year-old suspect, sunglasses were found, which, after data verification, were confirmed to belong to the assaulted vehicle. This individual, who had a history of similar cases, was also arrested.
