The Ayala City Council, following the completion of the sports court roof works in Luiaondo, has approved the call for cultural, sports, and social grants for 2026, with a budget of 38,000 euros.

These grants are designed to fund programs that complement municipal services, focusing on culture, sports, and social action. The primary objective is to strengthen community engagement and support initiatives that have a direct impact on the social life of the municipality.
Non-profit associations, individuals, parent-teacher associations (AMPAs), educational centers, and administrative boards are also eligible to apply for these subsidies for traditional events such as Olentzero and Maridomingi, San Juan, Santa Águeda, or the Three Kings Parade.
Each project can receive a maximum grant of 6,000 euros, ensuring that funds are distributed among various proposals. The deadline for submitting applications is May 29, and they can be processed at municipal offices or through the electronic headquarters.
Additionally, today, Monday, marks the closing date for registration for activities aimed at children aged 4 to 12, which will take place at the Respaldiza social center. These activities, priced at 6 euros, are part of the San Isidro fair and will be held on Friday, May 15, from 10:00 to 13:30.
