The celebration filled San Antón square, where drummers performed a wide repertoire, accompanied by the Beti Jai fanfarre. This event saw significant public participation, creating a lively festive atmosphere.
Alongside the drum parade, small portions of snails were distributed at a price of two euros. Residents formed long queues to taste this traditional dish or take it home, highlighting the success of the celebration.
Today marks the main holiday in Álava, and celebrations will continue. To conclude the drum parades, a children's retreat from Etxaurren Ikastola will take place, as part of the Aiara festivities program.
