The Amurrio City Council has initiated the process to renew and update its VI-10068 hunting ground, encompassing areas in Aloria, Amurrio, Larrinbe, Lekamaña, and Lezama.

The Amurrio City Council has commenced the process of renewing and updating its hunting ground, designated as VI-10068 "Amurrio". This area includes various territories within the municipalities of Aloria, Amurrio, Larrinbe, Lekamaña, and Lezama.
This initiative is part of the management preceding the expiration of the current hunting management contract. The ground offers an organized framework for regulating hunting exploitation, defining safety and reserve zones, and managing incidents related to agricultural damage and road safety.
Following the determination of the hunting ground's future extent, the Council will launch an information period aimed at landowners in the affected towns. They will be able to learn about the characteristics and conditions involved in including their plots within the hunting ground, as stipulated by the Technical Plan for Hunting Management.
Interested parties can consult the documentation and receive further information regarding this process at the Agriculture, Livestock, and Mountains Area of the Amurrio City Council, until June 30th, by appointment.
