The Segundo Olaeta Musika Eskola Pública in Gernika-Lumo is making a key strategic move for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. With the firm objective of meeting increasing social demand, the cultural center will extend its music teaching hours to serve all adults wishing to start in this art form or resume studies they had to abandon due to work or family commitments.
Starting from the new academic period, the music school will diversify its options and offer specific morning classes for a wide range of instruments. Disciplines available in the mornings include flute, guitar, piano, txistu, pandero, alboka, brass instruments, violin, and cello.

Through this platform, emblematic Basque music tracks from the iconic 80s to contemporary compositions will be reinterpreted, simultaneously combining the potential of soloists, choir, and a music band.
