Following the Easter period, and as in previous years, the Bermeo City Council has issued a call for the administrative concession for the use of the Aritzatxu beach canteen and restrooms. The deadline for submitting proposals is May 4th, and applications can be made at the Berhaz office or through the contracting profile of the Bermeo City Council.

This concession will be awarded through a competitive tender process, with various criteria considered to ensure the best possible quality-price ratio for the operation. One key criterion will be the economic offer, with a minimum bid of 300 euros required from candidates. The maintenance and cleaning program for the concessioned spaces and premises will also be evaluated.

Furthermore, as part of the operation, bidding entities are expected to present a revitalization plan for Aritzatxu beach. Finally, the appearance and ergonomics of the elements and furniture will be taken into account, which must respect the natural environment. The concession will last for one year and will cover the following periods: from June 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026; and from March 20 to April 4, 2027, coinciding with the Easter period.

It is worth noting that the Aritzatxu canteen has a total area of 12 m2, complemented by two restrooms of 6 m2 each, and a 30 m2 terrace. All relevant information regarding the tender can be found on the Bermeo City Council's website.
