ONCE has honored Roxana Troncea as the Seller of the Year in Euskadi, recognizing her joy and dedication to customers in Amorebieta, during a ceremony held at the Bilbao delegation.

Roxana Troncea, who hails from Bucharest, has been radiating joy and enthusiasm with her customers since joining ONCE in 2022, currently operating in Amorebieta. She received her recognition at a gala hosted at the ONCE Delegation in Bilbao, where her commitment to her work was highlighted.

"I felt a lot of emotion, I can't explain it, it was like a dream, I felt something strange in the sense of, why me, and not another seller?"

Roxana Troncea · ONCE Seller of the Year
Before her tenure at ONCE, Troncea worked in various fields including cooking, cleaning, and elderly care residences. However, her low vision made these tasks increasingly challenging until a friend encouraged her to apply for a job opening she saw in the press when the Ilunion San Mamés hotel opened. Subsequently, through Inserta Empleo, she completed a machinery operation course, which led to her being offered a sales position.
Since then, she has been one of the five ONCE sales agents in Amorebieta. On weekends, she sells at kiosks on Sabino Arana and San Miguel streets, and on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, she works at various locations within the municipality. In January 2025, Roxana participated in the presentation of the coupon dedicated to the centenary of Sociedad Deportiva Amorebieta. She explains that since then, some players and staff from the football club often seek her out in town to buy coupons, as does the mayor. There's even a client from Lemoa who calls her to place an order and then comes to pick it up.
