Osakidetza Emergency Services attended to 25 individuals this Sunday until 7 PM as a consequence of the high temperatures registered in Euskadi. The ages of those attended ranged between 16 and 94 years old. Of these, eight were treated on-site and discharged, while 17 were transported by ambulance to primary care centers and hospitals for follow-up, all experiencing mild conditions.
By territory, Gipuzkoa recorded four cases, Bizkaia a total of 21, and Araba none. On Saturday, there were eight attendances, seven of which were in Gipuzkoa, although this Sunday, Gipuzkoa had the fewest cases.
A red alert has been activated in Euskadi for Monday, between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM, due to the forecast of a very intense heat episode affecting the entire territory.
