Starting this Friday, September 25, Renfe's train service between Irún and Brinkola will undergo modifications. Specifically, there will be no train service on Fridays along this route. In its place, Renfe will provide buses for passenger transport.
The train service will operate from Monday to Thursday, between 04:30 and 17:30, until October 26.
Additionally, on Monday, October 12, there will also be no train service. Consequently, during that week, Renfe will only operate the service from Tuesday to Thursday.
Outside of these hours, train and bus services will be combined, with road transfers between Irún and Hernani stations. For medium-distance trains, the journey between Irún and Andoain will be made by road.
Regarding long-distance train services, those connecting Gipuzkoa with Madrid will cover the section between Irún and Tolosa by bus in both directions. Services connecting San Sebastián and Barcelona will have transfers between San Sebastián and Tolosa.
Renfe has informed that some train schedules may be adjusted to accommodate these road transfers. Updated schedules can be consulted on Renfe's website and through the usual communication channels for travelers.
