The Irun City Council and the Association House of Women of Irun (ACMI/IEEE), within their co-management agreement, have organized a screening and subsequent discussion of the documentary '80 Grados Norte: where time freezes' featuring Esther Aristieta. The event will take place next Friday, October 2nd, at 6:30 PM at the House of Women, with free admission until full capacity.
This activity is part of the 'Feminist Dialogues' program and also the program for the Week of Older Adults. The documentary invites reflection on active aging and the importance of continuing to face new challenges at any stage of life.
Through Esther Aristieta's experience on an Arctic expedition, the work challenges age stereotypes and highlights the autonomy, personal achievement, and well-being of older women.
The 'Feminist Dialogues' program has been offering a monthly meeting space since January for women and men to learn about and reflect together on various realities that affect them, starting with a different theme or format each time.
