On Friday, August 7, the parade of giants and big-heads will affect Plaza Urdanibia, Avenida Salis, and the streets Juncal, Santiago, Escuelas, Fermín Calbetón, Fueros, Mayor, and San Marcial from 17:40 to 20:00. Brief traffic interruptions may occur on Paseo Colón and Plaza Urdanibia.
On Saturday, August 8, access to Plaza Urdanibia will be restricted from 10:00 via several streets, and access to the Larreaundi neighborhood will be exclusively via Avenida Euskal Herria. From 11:00, access from Calle Uranzu to Plaza Urdanibia will be closed, diverting traffic to Avenida Navarra.
Other significant traffic closures include access to the Zubimuxu roundabout (from 9:30), Calle Hondarribia, Paseo Colón, and Avenida Gipuzkoa (closed in both directions from 11:00). The long-distance bus stop at Plaza Txanaleta will be inaccessible between 10:50 and 13:00. The taxi rank at José Ramón Agirretxe will also experience access and exit modifications.
The San Juan and Mendibil parking lots will remain unaffected, but the one at Paseo Colón will have its entrance modified via Avenida Gipuzkoa. Travelers are advised to use the Variante bypass. Restrictions will be lifted gradually, estimated around 13:45.
On Sunday, August 9, the perimeter of Plaza Urdanibia will be closed for the rural sports championship. Calle Korrokitz will be affected, with traffic diverted via Uranzu. Access to Plaza Urdanibia from Santa Elena will also be closed. The lane on Calle Vega de Eguzkiza towards Larreaundi will be closed for event vehicles (09:00-14:30).
Irunbus services will also see changes. On Saturday, lines L1 and L4 will have altered routes between 10:45 and 13:00. The terminus for L2 will be temporarily relocated. On Sunday, the stops at San Juan Langile and Urdanibia will be cancelled from 09:00 to 14:30.
