Irun inaugurates Irugurutzeta with family activities

The Irun City Council has organized a special program for this weekend to coincide with the inauguration of the new interpretation center and surroundings of Irugurutzeta.

The initiative includes free visits to the center, cultural and family activities, and guided routes to discover the heritage and natural value of the enclave. The interpretation center will be open to the public free of charge on Friday (from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM), Saturday (from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM), and Sunday (from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM). A free 'Tren Txikito' service will also be available to reach the site, although some departures are already fully booked.
Saturday's schedule is particularly aimed at families. At 11:00 AM, there will be an activity with giants organized by Ondare Kultur Elkartea, followed by family workshops at 12:00 PM organized by Txiribuelta. In the afternoon, at 5:00 PM, the storyteller Ameli will perform, and at 6:00 PM, A&B Shows will present a mini circus performance.
Additionally, two guided hiking routes have been organized to explore the natural environment and the secrets of the old mining area. These tours will take place on both Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 AM, and prior registration is required through the Museo Oiasso website.
