Interested individuals can register until September 14th. For the new academic year, two main modalities will be offered: an intensive three-month course, running from October 1st to December 22nd, with 4 hours of daily classes from 09:00h to 13:15h; or full-year courses, from October 1st to June 18th, with five or six hours of weekly classes and a wide range of schedules.
To register for the Municipal Euskaltegi's offerings, applications must be submitted online through the municipal website's electronic headquarters or at self-service terminals located throughout the city. For this, an electronic signature system, such as the Irun Txartela-BAKQ, will be required.
Furthermore, the tuition fees paid for the courses offered by the Municipal Euskaltegi can be reimbursed through the Irun City Council's scholarship program or HABE grants. Additionally, in the 2026-2027 academic year, the Basque Government will launch the 'Euskera Bonua'. This initiative will allow for the creation of a pool of hours, usable within a period of up to four years, through a single payment of 120 euros, covering levels up to A1 and B1.1.
FOR THE THREE-MONTH INTENSIVE COURSES, beneficiaries of the LANNAHI program fees will pay 20 euros per term.
To complete the application, a level test is mandatory, except for those currently studying at the Municipal Euskaltegi or who were students in the previous year. To schedule an appointment for this level test, interested individuals should call 943 50 52 73 after completing their registration.
