The Sandoniak Festivities in Zeberio commence today, September 2nd, and will continue until the 7th. The program includes various activities, such as the show ‘Zerua lapurtu dute’ (They have stolen the sky) by clowns Porrotx, Marimotots, Pupu eta Lore, aimed at children, today at 18:00 in the town square. This work by the company Katxiporreta addresses the mystery of disappearing stars.
The City Council will allocate 116,000 euros to repair roads in several neighborhoods of the municipality. The works will be carried out in the neighborhoods of Gezala, Elorrea, Undurraga, Solatxi, Bekolanda, and Zubialde, with funding from the Provincial Council of Bizkaia. The objective is to cover existing potholes and improve the roads, with the works needing to be completed before June 30, 2027.
The Youth Association has also prepared its program at the Gazte Txosna (Youth Tent), featuring a fire bull, DJ Radiopatio, and a macaroni dinner, among other events. Additionally, on the night of September 5th, a free night taxi service will be offered for travel between Ugao and Igoerre from 21:00 to 03:00. This year's festivities will include electro-charangas, gastronomic competitions, and children's games, among other activities. The band Tukanon, composed of members from Zeberio and Artea, will also perform a concert during Bilbao's Aste Nagusia on August 27th.
