Dozens of people gathered at Igorre's town hall, concerned about the non-payment of Christmas lottery tickets sold by the local rugby club, with the Ertzaintza having registered over a hundred complaints.

The meeting took place in one of the rooms of the Igorre Town Hall on Thursday afternoon, where those affected shared their experiences. The Ertzaintza has already registered over a hundred complaints, all framed within the same police investigation for an alleged fraud.
One of the affected individuals, although not from Igorre, stated that he heard a “rumor” about what was happening. He recalled the morning of December 22, when the children of San Ildefonso announced the number 90693, which won 10,000 euros per ticket, reduced to 9,600 euros after taxes.

"You won the lottery and in the end, you didn't."

This individual explained that upon learning his number had won, he traveled to Igorre but was unable to collect his winnings. Initially, he was assured that payment would arrive after Easter, but over time, suspicions arose about internal issues. This situation has caused significant frustration among ticket purchasers.
