The new mayor, aged 51, possesses extensive experience in public administration and institutional representation. Currently, he serves as a councilor in the Artea Town Council, where he has been responsible for areas such as Urban Planning, Equality, the Third Sector, and Environment.
Furthermore, he is a member of the General Assemblies of Bizkaia, where he chairs the Culture and Basque Language Commission and participates in other commissions such as Infrastructure, Environment, and Citizen Petitions.
He also acts as a municipal representative in various organizations, including EUDEL, the Water Consortium, and the Arratia and Gorbeialdea Commonwealth, which strengthens his knowledge of public management and inter-institutional work. This extensive professional and political experience reinforces the political party's commitment to Artea and "to a management model based on stability, responsibility, and teamwork," as stated by the party.
