The program includes performances ranging from 10 to 23 minutes, all with free admission until full capacity is reached. Audiences can watch the shows in three daily sessions, at 6:00 PM, 6:45 PM, and 7:30 PM, in commercial spaces located in various neighborhoods of Gasteiz. The cycle features seven theater plays and one dance piece.
The program will kick off on Tuesday, April 14, with two offerings. Origen, a shop on General Álava street, will host 'Ni arriba ni abajo', a play centered on an elevator conversation marked by half-truths and awkward situations. On the same day, Perlasalute, at 13 Bernal Díaz de Luco street, will be the setting for 'Frame', a dance piece by Laura Cobo that plays with rhythm, repetition, and movement alteration.
Wednesday, April 15, will feature two more performances. Bodega J. Pérez, at 21 Heraclio Fournier, will host 'Zazpi urte eta erdi', a proposal by the Gehibat company that explores a post-mortem reunion through avatars created with artificial intelligence. Also that day, Bioalai, at 23 Txalaparta, will receive 'Algo muy tocho' by Pez Limbo, a play about two men moving forward without knowing where they are going, in a game between life and theater.
The program will continue on Thursday, April 16, with two additional events. At Boucheruit, on 11 Herrería street, 'Guardar la ropa' by the Santorini company will be presented, a story about two strangers who meet in a laundry room and share their problems, desires, and ways of seeing the world. On the same day, Paul Paulina, at 13 Domingo Beltrán, will host '¿Me dejas darle el biberón?', performed by Olatz Gamboa, a piece about a toxic relationship between a father and daughter, marked by Alzheimer's and reunion.
The festival will conclude on Friday, April 17, with the final two performances. La Puri, at 8 Vicente Goicoechea, will be the stage for 'La habitación de los objetos perdidos', a work in which Neus Soler reflects on everything that is lost, from objects to memories or personal bonds. The last event will be at Nerimmoon, at 5 Aldabe, with 'Miradas' by Diversitat Teatral, a story about a couple attending an experimental theater performance and facing a reaction as strange as it is supernatural.
'150 gramos. Dendaz Denda' thus once again blends performing arts and local commerce in a format of a short cultural tour through different parts of the city. The main key for the audience will be proximity: short pieces, reduced capacities, and performances distributed in establishments throughout Vitoria-Gasteiz.
