Euskalmet has activated a yellow alert for this Wednesday in Vitoria-Gasteiz and Álava, effective from 3:00 PM until midnight, due to the possibility of intense and stormy downpours.

Precipitation could exceed fifteen liters per square meter in one hour. In addition to thunderstorms, hail and strong wind gusts are expected, potentially reaching between sixty and eighty kilometers per hour.
According to Euskalmet's forecast, the alert will primarily impact the latter half of the day, so caution is advised for afternoon and evening commutes.
During stormy conditions, it is recommended to avoid wooded areas, remove objects from balconies or terraces that could be dislodged by the wind, and exercise extreme caution on the road if rain reduces visibility or creates standing water.
