Trench construction work on Huetos Avenue in Vitoria-Gasteiz will lead to traffic disruptions and changes in the urban bus service from April 13 to May 13, with a complete closure of the city-bound lane.

Construction work for a trench on Huetos Avenue will cause traffic disruptions and affect the urban bus service between Monday, April 13, and Wednesday, May 13. The works will necessitate a complete closure of the city-bound lane in the section between Bekolarra and Urartea streets, while only a single lane will remain operational for outbound traffic.
To ensure mobility, traffic will be diverted via Bekolarra, Alibarra, and Zurrupitieta streets. Additionally, a temporary change of direction will be implemented at the intersection of Düsseldorf street and Huetos Avenue to facilitate access to local driveways.
These works will impact Tuvisa's service, specifically the extensions of Line 5. The bus stops located on Huetos AvenueMayoristas, Azucarera, and Mercedes— will be out of service from April 13 to May 10. For extension 5a (Asteguieta), Alibarra Mayoristas (towards Urartea) will serve as a provisional stop, while for extension 5b (Jundiz–Ariñez / Arkaiate), the provisional stop Las Arenas / Mercedes will be available.
The City Council and Tuvisa recommend planning journeys in advance and paying attention to the temporary signage installed in the area.
